Operator and scope
Designlof is operated by Wiryo Saputra, based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Contact: hello@designlof.com. These terms explain use of designlof.com and the basis on which website design, development, template customization and website-care enquiries are handled.
They are not a substitute for a project proposal, statement of work or template license. A written agreement accepted by both parties defines the purchased work. If that agreement differs from these general terms, it governs the relevant engagement, subject always to mandatory law and rights that cannot be waived.
02 / 14
Enquiries are not purchases
The public website is a portfolio and enquiry catalogue. Submitting a contact form, template request, chat message or newsletter registration does not complete a purchase, reserve a delivery date or create an obligation to pay.
We review the brief and confirm suitability, scope, price, delivery assumptions and applicable license before work begins. An engagement starts only when the relevant written proposal is accepted and any agreed start conditions are met. Please ensure you have authority to act for the business named in an enquiry.
03 / 14
Pricing, currency and payment
The advertised website-project starting price is US$800. It is a starting point for a scoped project, not a fixed price for every website, template, feature or support plan. Final fees depend on pages, content, functionality, integrations, customization and delivery requirements.
The proposal or invoice will identify the payable currency, payment schedule, any deposit, applicable taxes and agreed third-party costs. We will confirm any currency conversion or payment-provider charge relevant to the arrangement before you commit. Do not assume hosting, domains, paid fonts, media licenses or ongoing care are included unless stated.
The current website does not collect card details or take online checkout payments. Payments, if agreed, follow the instructions on a verified invoice. If bank details appear to change or a payment request seems unusual, verify it using an established contact before paying.
04 / 14
Scope, revisions and timing
The agreed scope should identify deliverables, page or template coverage, functionality, content responsibilities, revision rounds, milestones and acceptance criteria. Requests outside that scope require an agreed change to price or timing before the additional work proceeds.
Delivery estimates depend on timely access, supplied content, feedback, approvals and third-party availability. We will communicate material delays and their effect on the schedule. Silence is not automatic approval of a design or an unagreed extra charge.
At handover, the agreed review process is used to identify defects or missing deliverables. New preferences or additional features are handled as changes. Support, defect correction and maintenance periods must be stated in the project agreement; no unlisted lifetime support or perpetual free revisions are implied.
05 / 14
Your content and responsibilities
You must have the rights and permissions needed for text, logos, images, personal information and other material supplied for the work. Tell us about confidentiality, accessibility, regulatory or data-handling requirements before the scope is agreed.
You retain rights you already hold in supplied materials and permit us to use them only as needed for the engagement. You are responsible for factual claims about your own business and for timely, authorised decisions. We remain responsible for our own contractual and legal obligations.
Use a mutually agreed secure method for credentials and confidential files. Do not place passwords or payment-card data in a general enquiry form or public comment.
06 / 14
Design ownership and template licensing
The project agreement must identify what is delivered, which rights transfer or are licensed, and when those rights take effect. Custom design does not automatically transfer ownership of our pre-existing tools, reusable components, CMS code or third-party materials. Any open-source component remains governed by its applicable license.
Templates are licensed products, not automatically exclusive designs or assignments of all underlying intellectual property. The written license must specify permitted websites or domains, modification rights, client use, redistribution restrictions, updates and support. Viewing a demo or submitting an enquiry grants no template license.
Stock photography, video, fonts, software and other third-party assets remain subject to their own licenses. Demo assets are not necessarily included for use in your launched site. We will identify agreed inclusions and any replacements or separately acquired licenses required for delivery.
Published portfolio projects may be Designlof-owned design studies. They should not be read as claims of a particular client relationship or commercial result. Public display of confidential client work requires the relevant permission.
07 / 14
CMS, hosting and third-party services
CMS editing access, hosting, domain management, backups, software updates and support are included only to the extent stated in the agreement. Ownership of accounts, ongoing charges and responsibility for renewal or maintenance should be clear before handover.
Third-party tools can have their own service limits, terms and availability. We cannot promise a third-party service will never change or become unavailable. We will explain material dependencies in the agreed work. This does not remove responsibility for the services we have actually agreed to provide.
After handover, keep account access secure and follow the agreed maintenance arrangements. If another person changes the site, the effect on ongoing support must be assessed against the agreement rather than treated as an automatic loss of all rights.
08 / 14
AI-assisted work
Our workflow may include AI-assisted research, drafting, visual exploration or development alongside human review. AI assistance does not make a deliverable automatically original, accurate or suitable for every use. The agreed review and acceptance process still applies.
Any restrictions on AI use, confidential material, external tools or client data should be recorded before work begins. Website enquiries do not grant permission for unrestricted use of submitted information in AI systems. Material intellectual-property or data-handling requirements belong in the project agreement.
09 / 14
Cancellation, suspension and refunds
Contact us promptly if you need to pause or cancel a project. The written agreement should explain notice, work completed, committed third-party costs, remaining deliverables and the treatment of payments. We will review what has actually been performed and what remains undelivered.
A deposit is not described here as automatically non-refundable, and these terms do not impose a blanket “no refunds” rule on services or digital products. Refunds and cancellation remedies depend on the agreement, the circumstances and applicable consumer law. Mandatory remedies for faulty or undelivered work remain available.
If a payment or dependency prevents progress, any proposed suspension and its consequences should be communicated and handled under the agreement. Restrictions on website access may be necessary to address abuse or a security risk; they do not cancel an unrelated legal entitlement.
10 / 14
Acceptable website use
Do not use the website to submit unlawful or deceptive content, impersonate another person, distribute malicious code, overload services, access another person’s information or test restricted systems without permission. Do not scrape or republish protected content in a way that infringes rights or interferes with the service.
Journal content and demonstrations are provided for information and evaluation. Links to external websites do not mean we control or endorse everything those sites publish. Public comments, where enabled, may be moderated for spam, abuse, privacy violations or relevance.
11 / 14
Results, responsibility and consumer rights
We aim to deliver the agreed work with reasonable care and skill. A design, SEO setup or performance improvement does not guarantee rankings, traffic, sales, conversion rates or a specific commercial return. Outcomes also depend on content, market conditions, client decisions and services beyond the agreed scope.
Nothing on this page excludes liability or a remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, transfers all responsibility to the client, or waives applicable consumer protections. Any allocation of risk in a separate agreement must comply with the law. We do not impose an automatic liability cap or blanket exclusion of refunds through these website terms.
12 / 14
Privacy and confidentiality
The Privacy policy explains collection and use of information through this website. A project involving personal data may require additional instructions, confidentiality terms or a data-processing agreement. Neither these terms nor a public form replaces those arrangements.
Please raise any confidentiality requirement before sending sensitive project materials. Both parties should use information received for the purposes of the engagement and meet the confidentiality obligations they have agreed.
13 / 14
Concerns, disputes and applicable law
For an issue with the website or a project, email hello@designlof.com with the project reference, a description of the concern and the resolution you seek. We will review the records and seek a practical resolution in good faith.
Indonesian law applies to these website terms, subject to mandatory protections that may apply to you. A project agreement may further specify applicable law and an appropriate dispute process. This page does not require exclusive foreign arbitration or prevent you from using a competent court, consumer body or other legally available remedy.
14 / 14
Changes and contact
These terms were last updated on 27 September 2026. Changes to this public page apply prospectively and do not silently rewrite a project agreement already accepted. Changes to an active engagement need the agreement required by that engagement and applicable law.
